Foundation of Chhatra Parishad

West Bengal Chhatra Parishad was founded on August 28, 1954, in Kolkata under the visionary guidance of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the first Chief Minister of West Bengal and Atulya Ghosh. Chhatra Parishad was the first student political organization in India
